The COVID-19 Pandemic continues to cause uncertainty. All of us at Victor Soccer Club share your concerns, as we struggle to create a balance of family, school, and work. We remain dedicated to providing our members access to reliable resources that may be helpful in achieving some balance. Although we may not be able to provide direct support, we strive to give you information that could be helpful. The resources below are those we believe will be helpful for families, coaches, and businesses going forward.

Pinnacle Indoor Training Guidelines/Checklist
Last Updated:10-10-2020
Below will describe the process we will follow for every player attending a practice session within the Pinnacle Athletic Campus. Please use this as guidelines and a checklist to follow for each practice attended. Hand sanitizer will be required and should be available by every player. Coaches will have hand sanitizer but will be limited supply so please make sure everyone has hand sanitizer present at EVERY session. Please make sure all equipment is labeled and easily identifiable, especially water bottles.
- Complete the TeamSnap Health Check 30 minutes prior to your session.
** Health Checks will be allowed to be completed at practice but MUST be completed before the session begins, cleared, and shown to a Coach BEFORE a parent leaves the facility. Completion is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Failure to complete your health check will result in not being able to participate in the scheduled session. As always...please answer these questions as honestly as possible to insure the safety of others as well as to allow us to continue to move forward with the soccer season. If in doubt for any reason please stay home. Send me a text message and let me know if something changed last minute and I will completely understand!! - All players must enter the Pinnacle facility using the main entrance (center doors) wearing approved masks (provided) into the facility. Masks must remain on until you enter the turf area.
Per NYSDOH - Sport and Recreation Master Guidance -
(https://www.governor.ny.gov/sites/governor.ny.gov/files/atoms/files/SportsAndRecreationMasterGuidance.pdf) Responsible Parties must ensure a distance of at least six feet is maintained among individuals at all times, whether indoor or outdoor, unless safety or the core activity (e.g. practicing, playing) requires a shorter distance. If a shorter distance is required, individuals must wear acceptable face coverings,
unless players are unable to tolerate a face covering for the physical activity (e.g. practicing, playing); provided, however, that coaches, trainers, and other individuals who are not directly engaged in physical activity are required to wear a face covering.o Acceptable face coverings for COVID-19 include but are not limited to cloth-based face coverings
and disposable masks that cover both the mouth and nose. - Masks MUST be worn to and from the training session and at any time social distancing cannot be maintained.
- When you enter the turf area each player should set their equipment around the outside perimeter of the turf (along netting) and all equipment must be at least 6 ft fromone another.
- After all equipment is on and ready to start your session every player will apply hand sanitizer BEFORE starting the practice session.
- During every water break hand sanitizer is to be applied. "Masks Up" as much as possible during all breaks.
- At the end of the training session coaches will collect shared equipment and players should immediately go to their equipment bags, apply masks, and if they wish, remove cleats, etc. Prior to leaving all players are to apply hand sanitizer again before leaving the turf area. Players will need to plan to leave the turf field immediately following the practice session and can remove gear in the waiting area.
- Masks are to be worn while exiting the turf area and must remain on until you exit the Pinnacle facility using either the East or West exits on either side of the facility (by basketball courts).

Equipment Disinfectant Guidelines
Last Updated:10-10-2020
Each Team will be responsible for identifying an Equipment Manager for the season. The Equipment Manager will be responsible for collecting all equipment and bringing it to and from all events and games.
All shared equipment (soccer balls, goals, pinnies, cones, dots) will need to be collected by the equipment manager and all items disinfected AFTER each session (within 2 hours) and BEFORE (within 1 hour) of attending the event. The Victor Soccer Club will be providing every Team with Lysol Disinfectant spray to be sprayed on all physical objects other than clothing (soccer balls, goals, cones). It is required to spray each item and allow the disinfectant to remain on the surface of the item for 5-10 minutes without being touched, moved, handled in any way to insure the item is disinfected.
All clothing/pinnies should be washed in the washing machine immediately following a practice session. Wearing of approved face masks and gloves as well as frequent hand washing or use of hand sanitizer is recommended BEFORE and AFTER handing any of the equipment.
Providing (2) pinnies to a player and having them be responsible for making sure they are cleaned as with their normal practice clothing is allowed. It MUST be communicated to the parents that and is recommended that these pinnies MUST be washed and disinfected immediately AFTER a session.
Please review the CDC article “Considerations for Youth Sports” for a complete and detailed description of what should be considered when involved in a youth sports organization.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
Last Updated: 9-28-2020
These changes are driven by our desire to ensure that player safety and accountability is our utmost priority. We understand that this will require some additional time and commitment from parents and coaches, but we feel they are necessary at this time for our club. Please review the complete policy.
Implementing our Return to Play Guidelines will require everyone working together within our Club: Coaches, Team Admins, Parents, and Players. While the Club, Coach & Team Admins must create a safe environment, our Parents must make the decision for their child to return to play. If, as a parent you are not comfortable in your child’s returning to play – DON’T. And finally, Players must be responsible to adhere to, and respect the social distancing requirements and contact guidelines that have been established.

League
Local League play in the Greater Rochester area will be allowed. Any league play outside of New York State will not be allowed.
Tournament Play
The Victor Soccer Club is placing a ban on all travel outside of New York State to participate in any Tournament at this time!
As some communities in the United States begin to start youth sports activities again, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers the following considerations for ways in which youth sports organizations can protect players, families, and communities and slow the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Administrators of youth sports organizations can consult with state and local health officials to determine if and how to put into place these considerations. Each community may need to make adjustments to meet its unique needs and circumstances. Implementation should be guided by what is practical, acceptable, and tailored to the needs of each community. These considerations are meant to supplement – not replace – any state, local, territorial, or tribal health and safety laws, rules, and regulations with which youth sports organizations must comply.
CDC Considerations for Youth Sports
Masks will be provided free of charge to all coaching staff and players participating in the 2021 program this season. We will have additional masks for sale on our website. They will be $10 each and all proceeds will go directly into our Club Scholarship Fund. Masks purchased online will be mailed to you or can be arranged to be sent to your next team practice. Please specify in the comments section.
