Victor Soccer Club Programs
Travel Soccer Program
Travel Soccer is a competitive team that plays against similar age/gender teams from other area clubs in the Rochester area (e.g., Pittsford, Fairport, Greece, Penfield, Webster).
Indoor training sessions will start in the late Fall and continue through April. Training is typically once a week during the winter and twice a week beginning in April, but can vary based on the coaches discretion. The travel coach may also elect to play in either an indoor league and/or indoor tournaments.
Outdoor training sessions start in early Spring with travel coach discretion on the practice times per week.
Recreation Soccer Program
The Club’s recreational soccer program has grown in popularity every year. We believe this is because of the fun soccer experience the Club provides for players of all skill and ability levels.
The Club sponsors recreational soccer programs in the Summer and Fall of each year. The Spring soccer season runs from June through July and the Fall soccer season runs from September through October. Players can choose to play one or both seasons. The specialty clinics are technical development skills only program that will focus on proper teaching methods to reinforce the mechanics and execution of important skills used in the game of soccer.
It is lead by Shawn Griffin, Director of Coaching for the Victor Soccer Club and Head Soccer Coach at Hobart College and has over 20 years of head coaching experience at the collegiate level.
Similar academy programs are popping up all over the United States throughout all the top clubs and it is our goal to continue to bring the very best opportunity to our players so that they will benefit directly from the expertise and coaching we will provide.
